Gonka Labs is requesting 370,000 USDT from the Gonka community pool to fund 9 months of continued infrastructure development through the end of 2026. We've already shipped 12+ products — including the leading block explorer, managed RPC, a browser-based smart contract IDE, and an open-source wallet — all without any external funding. This proposal allows us to scale the team, launch new products, and keep building what the community needs.
The full 370,000 USDT is escrowed in a public smart contract. 160,000 USDT is released up-front for delivered work; the remaining 210,000 USDT unlocks in three quarterly tranches over 9 months, capped at 33% of the remainder per quarter. The community can pause, resume, or claw back funds at any time via governance.

Track Record clarified — 12 product cards now visible
The grid previously showed only 10 cards while the TL;DR claimed "12+ products". Restored the count to 12 cards by adding Feather, Tx-Scanner, and Gonka Agent.
The Gonka.gg card now lists its 9 sub-products explicitly: Block Explorer, Transactions, Participants, Inference Map, Slashing Monitor, Faucet, Reward Calculator, Node Tracker, and Full GPU History.
Each open-source product card now links directly to its GitHub repository. Added a "Built in the open" callout pointing to github.com/gonkalabs with all 9 public repos.
Caught and clarified thanks to feedback in the Telegram chat. Keep it coming.

Who We Are
Gonka Labs is a three-person engineering team — Tim, Mike, and Artem — that has been building infrastructure for the Gonka ecosystem since December 2025. We stumbled upon an interview with the Gonka founders, and their enthusiasm was astonishing. On December 12, 2025, we launched gonka.gg — the first blockchain explorer for Gonka.
We asked the community: "What tools and services do we lack the most?" — and then built them. One by one. Every single product started as a community request.
Track Record
In under 4 months, with zero external funding, we shipped 12+ products and published 9 public open-source repositories. Here's what's live today:
Gonka.gg
Block explorer + analytics platform. 1,500+ daily users, 2M+ API requests/day, 270M+ transactions indexed. A single home for everything Gonka, with nine sub-products inside:
Block ExplorerTransactionsParticipantsInference MapSlashing MonitorFaucetReward CalculatorNode TrackerFull GPU History
rpc.gonka.gg
Managed RPC infrastructure. 400+ endpoints across 6 surfaces. ClickHouse-indexed, up to 110x faster than raw RPC.
Contract Playground
Write, compile, simulate, and deploy CosmWasm smart contracts entirely in the browser.
Everything we've built so far has been self-funded. We've been running on personal savings and enthusiasm. But to take Gonka's infrastructure to the next level, we need sustainable funding.
The Gonka ecosystem is growing. More users, more developers, more demand for reliable infrastructure. We want to:
Expand the team — hire additional engineers to accelerate development and support more products.
Launch new products — testnet infrastructure, mobile wallet apps, a unified data platform, and more.
Scale existing infrastructure — our services handle millions of requests daily, and that number keeps growing.
Support the ecosystem — through bounties, airdrops, and direct GNK buybacks to support token value.
We're not asking for money to start building — we're asking for money to keep building. The track record speaks for itself.
The Ask
370,000USDT
From the Gonka community pool · Subject to governance vote
This amount covers 9 months of operations through the end of 2026: team salaries, infrastructure costs, community incentives, and a GNK buyback program — all designed to grow and sustain the Gonka ecosystem.
Disbursement Mechanism
Funds never touch our wallets directly. The full amount is escrowed in a public, on-chain smart contract that enforces the disbursement schedule and gives the community real-time control over the flow of funds.
1
Full amount escrowed in smart contract
370,000 USDT
Upon proposal approval, the entire 370,000 USDT is transferred from the community pool directly into a public smart contract. Every disbursement from that point forward is governed by code and verifiable on-chain.
2
One-time payout for delivered work
160,000 USDT
The smart contract makes a single, one-time disbursement to Gonka Labs. This covers the infrastructure we've already built and shipped, plus immediate operational costs to keep services running.
3
Three quarterly tranches over 9 months
210,000 USDT
The remaining 210,000 USDT is split into three equal tranches. Every 3 months, we may withdraw up to 33% of the remainder — in any number of transactions, at any pace within the cap. After 9 months, all tranches are unlocked.
Community always in control
Pause — a governance proposal can halt withdrawals at any time.
Resume — a follow-up proposal can re-enable withdrawals.
Clawback — a proposal can return any unspent funds back to the community-sale address.
This structure gives us enough runway to operate immediately while keeping the majority of funds behind a transparent, programmable cap that the community can override at any moment. We have skin in the game — and the community keeps the keys.

We will use these funds to purchase GNK tokens on the open market to support token price and demonstrate our long-term commitment to the ecosystem.
Roadmap & Deliverables
Here's what we currently plan to ship over the next 9 months — one phase per disbursement tranche, ending as 2026 ends. This roadmap is not final — it's a snapshot of our priorities today, and it will deeply depend on community feedback, ecosystem priorities, and what the network actually needs as Gonka grows. Items will be added, removed, and re-ordered together with the community.

Roadmap is community-driven
This list is a working draft, not a fixed contract. Every quarter, we'll re-evaluate priorities based on community discussion (Telegram, GitHub) and on-chain governance signals. If the network needs something more urgently than what's listed here, that's what we'll build.
Team Growth
We started as three engineers and shipped 12+ products. Imagine what we can do with a larger team.
3Current team
Tim, Mike, Artem — full-stack engineers who built everything from scratch.
→
5–7Target team (by end of 2026)
Additional backend engineers, a mobile developer, and a DevOps engineer to support growing infrastructure.
A larger team means faster iteration, better uptime, more products, and dedicated support for the community.
Accountability
We believe in transparency and accountability. Here's how we'll keep the community informed:
Monthly progress reports — public updates on GitHub Discussions detailing what we shipped, what we spent, and what's next.
Open-source everything — all new products will maintain our 80%+ open-source commitment.
Community calls — regular Q&A sessions on Telegram for direct feedback and discussion.
On-chain transparency — all USDT disbursements are on-chain and verifiable by anyone.
Smart-contract escrow — 370,000 USDT lives in a public on-chain contract. The community can pause withdrawals or claw back unspent funds via governance at any time.
We're not asking you to trust us blindly — we're asking you to judge us by our work. We've shipped 12+ products in 4 months. The code is open. The metrics are real. And we're just getting started.
Your Vote Matters
This proposal can only move forward with your vote. Gonka is a decentralized network, and every decision about how community funds are spent belongs to the community.
✓
Vote YES if
You believe Gonka Labs has demonstrated consistent value to the ecosystem and deserves continued funding to scale its impact.
✗
Vote NO if
You think the ask is too high, the roadmap isn't convincing, or you'd prefer to see funds allocated differently. Your voice matters either way.
We respect whatever the community decides. If this proposal passes, we'll deliver. If it doesn't, we'll listen to the feedback and come back with a better one.
